Safeguarding

Our safeguarding commitment

Safeguarding is the part of our work that never relaxes. Our designated safeguarding lead is Sherri Revell, our manager, supported by a trained deputy, and every member of staff without exception holds an enhanced DBS check and current safeguarding training. Staff know the children well enough to notice small changes, and they know the procedure well enough to act on a concern the same day it arises.

We work openly with parents wherever we can, and with the local safeguarding partnership where we must. If you ever have a concern about a child, about a member of staff or about anything you have seen here, speak to the manager or the designated safeguarding lead directly. You will be taken seriously and told what happens next.

Complaints

If something is wrong

Speak first to your child's key-person or the manager, Sherri Revell. Most concerns are resolved there and then, and anything formal is acknowledged in writing with a clear timeframe. You also have the right to contact Ofsted directly at any time on 0300 123 1231 or through gov.uk, whether or not you have spoken to us first.

SEN

SEN and our SENCo

Our special educational needs coordinator is Donna, our SEND Coordinator. If you have a worry about your child's development, or a diagnosis already in hand, the SENCo will meet you, build a plan with your child's key-person and bring in outside professionals where they help. Raising a concern is as simple as asking at drop off.

Children's records, photographs and family data are held securely, used only for your child's care and education and never sold or shared for marketing.
